Kevin De Bruyne | Arsenal 0-3 Manchester City | December 2019The Belgian was brilliant against the Gunners on the first night of the Premier League's restart as well, but his performance back in December was simply outrageous.De Bruyne's two goals at the Emirates were of the highest order and only a gravity-defying save from Bernd Leno prevented the City midfielder from scoring a hat-trick of worldies.Proof - if it was needed - that the Belgian is the best midfielder in the Premier League by a country mile and arguably the finest on the planet.

Liverpool fail to win at home in the Premier League.A sentence that hasn’t been typed since January 2019.But Burnley went to Anfield and came away with a point following a 1-1 draw.Andy Robertson had put the champions into a first half lead with a superb header and, if it wasn’t for an incredible performance from goalkeeper Nick Pope, the Reds could have been about 5-0 ahead.But with 20 minutes remaining, Jay Rodriguez swivelled on a loose ball on the edge of the box to fire past Alisson.Burnley could have won it late on, too.Alisson could only punch a cross into Johann Gudmundsson’s path but the Icelandic midfielder struck the crossbar with a golden opportunity.

It’s not just the Premier League’s Golden Boot award which is up for grabs over the new few weeks.The league’s goalkeepers are currently competing to seal the coveted Golden Glove accolade.This individual award is handed out to the ‘keeper who finishes the season with the most clean sheets - and there’s a rather surprising name leading the race this term.Burnley currently sit ninth in the table but their first-choice goalkeeper Nick Pope has kept an impressive 14 clean sheets since August.That’s one more than Liverpool’s Alisson Becker and Manchester City’s Ederson.Sheffield United’s Dean Henderson (12 clean sheets), Leicester City’s Kasper Schmeichel (12) and Wolves’ Rui Patricio (11) are also among the contenders to win the award.
